The Start of a Great Week

Tracy and I have started our much needed and over due vacation today, but for me it started with an amazing Thursday night when the Noles came into Raleigh and took it to NC State on prime time ESPN tv!

The day began with my buddy Kevin from high school and FSU Alum drove up from South Carolina to come hang out and tailgate with me and friends from the Triangle Seminole Club.

Later on my boy Bill came and joined us and we shared some BBQ with about 200 other Nole Fans as we got psyched to head into a sea of Red at Carter Finley.

The first half was just downright scary because FSU just did not play well and NCSU was playing great! Being the 6th ranked defense in the nation and NCSU being last in rushing in the ACC, FSU made the Pack look like Usian Bolt running all over a 6yr old pop warner team!

In the second half FSU stepped it up and took it to the Pack. After long sustain drives and the Wolfpack just falling apart the Noles came back and close the deal with the final score 26-17, dropping NCSU to (2-4) and advancing their record to (5-1)! I'd have to say my favorite part of the evening is when our little visitor section of about 1000 or so FSU fans were louder than the other 50,000 Pack fans doing the Seminole War Chant all night long! It feels great to win an away game at someone else's field! At the end the FSU players came to celebrate with us and cap off the night! Overall it was great to catch up with one of my best friends from high school and hang out with my buddy Bill!

This was definitely a great start to what's gonna be an amazing week! Cruise, Bahamas, Florida, Dad's birthday, AND going to Tallahassee to see the NOLES whoop up on Va. Tech at DOAK is gonna be a great way to end the week! This is gonna be freakin awesome!

Friday Night Lights

Last night Tracy and I went to go see the Panther Creek vs. Green Hope High school football game. It was Panther Creek's Homecoming and boy was it packed! These two high schools are considered rivals and are the two closest schools to Crosspointe. We had a great time seeing parents and students and enjoyed our Friday Night Lights experience! Here is last night by the numbers.

0 - Parking spots left in the parking lot (we happened to sneak into one of the last ones)
22 - Minutes we waited in line to get tickets to this packed out game
15 - Points scored by Panther Creek before we even got into the stadium
9 - Parents we said hello to
5 - Green Hope students we talked to
13 - Panther Creek students we talked to
21-7 - Final score, Panther Creek won

Vote for my wife for President in 2008!

From 47 year old dirty man to Commander and Chief? That's right! My wife, Tracy Diane Mullins, has been taking the nation by storm by stealing votes from Obama & McCain in what could be the first ever Mrs. President. Check out the news story that Channel 3 did below on her.

Watch out Obama and McCain, it's gonna be a Mullins in 2008!
