60+ for PNO!

Last Friday night confirmed for me that I don't want to have kids for a LONG LONG LONG LOOOOOOOOOOOOONG time! It's not that I don't love them but it showed me that I'm not ready for parenthood just yet! Imagine having 14 kids ages 6-10 begging you to play wii and you only have 4 controllers, yeah that was my night all night on Friday!

We had an awesome turn out for our Parent Night Out Support Raising event for our Student DC & Haiti Mission Trips. Over 60 lil ones showed up and took control over Crosspointe Church! We had crab-soccer, dodgeball, and throw the ball at the older kids (teens) happening in the gym. We did some bowling & tennis on the wii, and had a happening movie playing for those kids who just wanted to chill. We raised a good bit and had blast doing it. Overall good night! So THANK YOU to all the families who participated in PNO and we truly hope you enjoyed your night out!

Having fourteen kids at once would blow anybody's circuits. There is a reason children are not born in litters.
God made parenthood like the frog analog about warming the water up a few degrees at a time. Before you know it you have three kids, the water is toasty warm, and everyone is blissfully headed towards puberty...... then the pot boils over, the hormones start, and we get to be thankful that we have a leader of our youth who can walk along side of us and "calmly" affirm to our children that, "No your parents are not crazy", Yes boundaries and wisdom do have their place in your life", etc...... Thanks for all you do!
Praying for you and yours
